Not an IT pro? You say the Vista driver wont install. Everithing works perfect excep for the audio. Discussion in ‘ HP ‘ started by fredshu , Mar 25, I may have to check my wiring in my laptop. Windows 7 IT Pro. The driver works, but giving me the same issue that the Vista driver gave.

I think the Conexant chipset here is the Venice. I have the same problem on the Windows 7 RTM. Can anybody help, please??

Regardless of whether you have Venice or Waikiki chipset, the driver support for Xp is certainly looking better at this point.
