I think the Conexant chipset here is the Venice. I have the same problem on the Windows 7 RTM. Can anybody help, please??

Regardless of whether you have Venice or Waikiki chipset, the driver support for Xp is certainly looking better at this point.

Can you verify it in your Device Manager? Even better, you should search for “dvt cto” or “dvz cto”. You should search for dvt or dvz.
